My friend wants me to take his build for $400 and a 1980 x 1280 monitr 21.5" for $50 so he can upgrade and we can play together. It has a gtx 570 with a corsair 750 watt 80 plus bronze with a quad core cpu at 3.2ghz i forgot what it was. Is it a good deal considering my budget? Also, what is the best usb wifi adapter thng for gaming at max $35. I have a centurylink modem if tht helps.

Depends what the CPU is.

Gaming on wifi is a joke. Unless you can get a wired connection your online gaming experience will be compromised.

Generally, no he is probably ripping you off. Computer parts have terrible resale value. Unless we know all the parts there is no way we can tell you a straight answer.
