I have 1 7970 double d Black edition graphics card, and my uncle is giving me 3 of his old monitors because he is getting new ones.

Monitor in question: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...

So I was wondering if I would be able to Max most games like I Do now on a setup with 3 of those monitors?
Bf3
Mine craft
Black ops 2
COD ghosts
Etc.

Also I will be using my old 24 inch 1080p monitor above these 3 for another Window to be open such as Chrome etc.

System specs
7970 xfx double d black edition
I5 3570k stock
16gb ram
Asus maximus iv extreme z motherboard
120gb ssd os
3tb hdd games and other storage
1000w power supply

I will be running the monitors in this form:

O
XXX

O= old monitor
X=new monitor

Games only on x monitors

Thanks in advance for Any help!

Not in ultra. Maybe if you drop everything down to the lowest settings, but you need at least a 780 to achieve any sort of good frame rate on triple monitors. Maybe two.

you can do this, have you installed Hydravision?

additionally, you may want to buy a new cheapy card, or use the integrated GPU for the fourth monitor not attached to the EYEfinity setup.

What about crossfire?
How many cards should I need for ultra then?
One monitor ultra is perfectly fine so I assume 2 cards would suffice?

I can't use the integrated gpu, but what cheap card do you suggest?

any 4 or 5 series GPU from AMD/ATI would suffice, why can't you use the Integrated?

Oh nevermind i just read that ASUS disabled the Integrated GPU function of the Intel Chips installed on that board.
