So supposedly APU's benefit significantly from high speed ram since it'll be using the RAM on your mobo rather than your GPU for graphics.... but what if you're using dual graphics? .. would it use both your GPU and on board memory for the same job or prioritize one over the other.... Just a bit confused on how it works.

If as I suspect.. that your system will be using both types of memory would GDDR5 be irrelevant?

Solution
yes it does help. Adding faster ram will help in dual graphics because the apu relies on system ram and wont read it from the dedicated gpu ram. This makes the apu closer to to the dGPU so microstuttering and frame drops will reduce once system ram speed has being upgraded. The case of gddr5, its iffy and people say the dGPU will lower memory clock.
