Attempting to build a new gaming rig but no signal is going through to the monitor and there is no beep from the MOBO

Connected mobo, processor, PSU, RAM, and GPU. Fans spin, LEDs on. Cannot get POST beep to happen or monitor input (mobo has no video chipset), even disconnecting all but mb/prcs and 1 stick RAM there is still no POST beep not even a bad one. Only have 300W PSU from prebuilt comp to test and that did nothing.

GA-970A-D3P AMD 970 mobo
AMD athlon X4 750k (says socket FM2, req discrete gpu??)
Corsair CX750 watt PSU
Ripjaw DDR3-1600 2x 2GB
ZOTAC nVidia GTX 560 TI 1gb 256bit gDDR5

Check all connections. On my first build, I made the mistake of incorrectly plugging in the front panel items in the wrong places. (I thought they were colour coded, but the weren't.)

but would that cause the MOBO to not beep? i thought it might be the power supply not giving the MOBO enough juice to send a signal through to the monitor?

Never mind what I said. I just realized it probably isn't your issue, as your PC would not turn on at all. No fans etc. So no beep, but this isn't the problem.
