I bought a 7990 a couple of weeks ago from Newegg and I was wondering if anyone is able to help me figure out if there's anything wrong, and or what's wrong with it.
I Uninstalled NVIDIA drivers and installed AMD 13.8 Drivers. Temps on the card are fine.. no visual artifacting or anything, but the card would crash every time I started BF3. Crysis 3 would often crash (red screen computer crash). Most other games I played I experienced no issues, but the computer did crash while idling a few times when I was away from it, with nothing running at times... other times with just chrome running. I did not experience this before with my GTX 580.
I decided to re-install Windows. I installed AMD 13.4 Drivers. BF3 and Crysis 3 ran fine, but I experienced 2 idle crashes in the span of 3 days so I decided to run Driver Verifier and experienced BSOD's with every Windows start up. Updated drivers to 13.8 v2 today, and Driver Verifier stopped giving me BSODs. The only time I am able to replicate a red screen computer crash so far, is when I fiddle around with the graphics settings in Crysis 3. Is there something wrong with this card? Should it be doing this or am I being too worried?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

The original issues you were having were likely due to leftover remnants of the nVidia driver interfering with the AMD driver. Whenever changing between brands its best to uninstall the driver, run CCleaner, then install the new. The fresh install of Windows is the longer way of clearing out the old driver.
You will want to stick with the 13.8 driver, there were some really good improvements in crossfire performance.

What settings are still giving you crashes?

Settings on where? Everything maxed at 1080p if thats what you mean. I dont crash all that often in games. When i play around with the settimgs on crysis 3 i get crash everytime. (changing system spec) what worries me most are the idle crashes. Im pretty sure that shouldnt be happening. i got 2 in a span of 3 days all while i was away from the computer. Has anyone tried League of Legends with this card? performance seems mediocre compared to my GTX 580. I even get noticeable dips on Howling Abyss.
