Only Tor works for me

I have recently moved into my aunts house and I am having trouble with her wireless to my desktop. This is the first time I've gone wireless so I picked up a Netgear n600 adapter. The first night I had decent connectivity, did a little torrenting. As well as the second night, but, the third day no URLs would load. Went from Firefox, Chrome, and IE, until I decided to use Tor. Tor works and works oddly well. So I'm thinking Time Warner dislikes my aunt's unusual activity and is blocking me.
*shrugs*
The router is an Arris DG860
I'm running Win8

Any suggestions on how to get full connectivity?

Sounds more likely you lost the DNS. Try a different DNS server. If they were going to do something they would completely turn it off or just allow things like http and https.
Still if you are using torrent to take copyrighted materials you really should use the tor anyway. Your aunt will be the one that has to deal with the nasty letters from the RIAA.

You sure your aunt did not detect it and and block you rather than the ISP.

I use peerblock when I'm torrenting and my aunt couldn't have blocked me lol. I'll try a different DNS server and post results.
