I had been unable to connect to the wifi where i live but was unsuccessful so what my Dell laptop told me to do was create a new network using the code i.d. of the router at the home I'm living and when i did that it erased the already set up wifi. And now the wifi doesnt work and the main compaq computer i can't get the first wifi back to work.

How do i fix this???

Solution
You can go into the network control panel, manage wireless networks, and delete the newly made network and any other old junk networks, restart and you should be able to see the signal from the new network so you can configure the security and password.
