my comp freezes alot

i have made my harddisk in to parts but i put a password on one part using encryption and now my comp freezes is it the encryption?

remove the encryption and see if that fixes the problem.

Generally I would say no, freezing is usually memory related but could also be brought on by bugs or viruses.
