I am upgrading my old PC with a new card, cpu, motherboard and ram. With the parts I am buying will I be able to run games like Battlefield 4 on Ultra at a playable frame rate? (How future proof is this upgrade?)
Parts:
CPU: Intel i5 3570k
GPU: MSI Radeon HD7950 3GB Twin Frozr III Boost Edition
Motherboard: MSI Z77A-GD65
RAM: Any 8gb sticks( whats a good choice)
Also I have an old 650 watt Master PSU from my old build, is that powerful enough to power my pc with these upgrades?
Cheers for your help!

Are you OC'ing? It's a K SKU you've got there on that CPU.

You could get a 7870 Ghz Edition for a little cheaper. It's still great.

Will also depend on what resolution you run at.

Corsair, G.Skill and Kingston are some quality RAM brands. Get some 1600Mhz RAM.

Yes your PSU will be fine. Just fine. Future-proofness ... Well it depends on how hard you press

your PC. Don't be expecting 5 years or something like that, without upgrading, if you intend on continously

playing the newest games.

If the cards quiet and can run most graphically hardcore games well then Ill probably get it haha. I'm sorta new to overclocking but should I still get the cpu or a cheaper one? Ill just have a 1920x1080p screen

That's up to you. If you want to OC, that's fine. Just don't hold an expectation that you'll see a performance

increase; not in day to day use or in games. Stick with the i5 if you can. It's ideal for gaming. You can

get Non-K versions.
