recently purchased a 16gb sandisk cruzer blade so that i can make a bootable disk for windows 8.
my computer does detect the flash drive since the mass usb storage pops up in the tray.
problem is... when i open up the windows 7 dvd download tool to make the bootable pen drive, my 16 gb flash drive doesnt show up... i tried another flash drive (memorex 4gb) and it shows up just fine.
tried reformatting to fat 32 and ntfs but still i get nothing... im starting to suspect that its the USB... please help
tried using Rufus to make that bootable pendrive but heres what i got from the log:
Rufus version 1.3.4.270
Windows version: Windows XP 32-bit
Found device 'SanDisk Cruzer Blade USB Device'
A device was eliminated because it didn't report itself as a non fixed USB disk
