I have a single OCZ Vertex 4 128GB drive which has served me well. I am using it as my Windows 8 boot drive, and I have about 30GB left.
Today Tiger Direct has a deal going on Intel 840 120GB SSD's for $79. I would like to pick one up and go RAID with my current SSD but in my n00bness I have 2 questions.
Can I mix manufacturers of my drives and be safe?
Could I set up RAID without having to uninstall/reinstall everything?
My gut tells me no to both, but I figured I would ask.
