Solution
@anoopadvaitha VS series PSU's are cheap entry level one's. they are not totally crap, they might get the job done. but you could take the CX 500 just o be on the safe side. and if your video editing and gaming in 1600 x 900 then 7750 would be enough.

^ & dottorrent+1, if gaming, drop down to something like AMD FX 6300 and up the GPU to HD 7870/ GTX 660, or even GTX 760 if you have enough cash.

also i don't think corsair has any 550W PSU. they have CX 500W and CX 650W but no CX 550 AFAIK. but even with this setup CX 500 would be enough.

Just change the Power Supply Unit to an 80+ Bronze unit. There are many budget 80+ Bronze units out there, like Corsair CX500 and the XFX 450W core edition. The VS series is basically bog standard, even for Corsair, though it is better than the cheapest wastes of metal. I'd say, go for it.
