Case doesnt allow enough standoffs

i have standard atx board (msi z77 g45) and a standard atx case (ciT jupiter) and in the case, the top left 2 holes are different to the rest and dont allow a standoff to be screwed all the way in as the rest do. My motherboard has 6 holes for standoffs, but because of my cases smaller holes, i could only fit 4, leaving the top left and top middle untouched. Is this a problem and should i force the standoffs through the too small holes?? Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm not positive I'm following your description, however if the problem is that one or two holes in the MB pan are smaller than the others then why not just drill them out to the proper size? Are the holes in question threaded?

you misunderstand, the problem is the holes in my case where i need to screw in the standoffs. The standoffs wont screw into 2 of the holes that are in the case..

Yes! Well, they will all screw into the holes, except they all screw in at different levels. Like, one will standoff will screw all the way down whereas other holes will only allow a couple of turns. Ive checked by putting my mobo in that i can get all the standoffs to line up with holes on mobo and ports line up with rear IO when i hold mobo in place. :p

No, I didn't misunderstand the problem. The MB pan is part of the case. My answer stands. If you have holes that are too small for what you want to do then drill them out.

I disagree completely. If you twist too hard you will break the screws off and have a bigger problem. I asked earlier if any of these holes are threaded and got no response. What about the screws? Are they machine screws or sheet metal screws. All of these things factor into a good outcome.

Unfortunately, my knowledge of screws isn't up to scratch... So I don't know either of those answers.. Sorry
