Hello!
I have Huawei HG532e which was sent to me by my ISP when ordering their 4096/512 plan. For like 2 days I'm trying to get QoS to work but with no luck what so ever as this router is a complete disaster when it comes to user guides. I hoped that some of you could help me set it up.. I know nothing about this stuff but what I know is that I am trying to achieve lag-free gaming while somebody is downloading something, watching youtube or is torrenting.
Here are the screenshots from QoS page:

Here is the text that appears when I click on "help":

Any help on setting this up would be great!
Thanks in advance!

The only ones I know for sure can do it are the higher end asus and those are expensive compared to other brands.

You best bet it to get a router that can load dd-wrt. There is a list on the site but you need to read this site very carefully if you do not follow instruction exactly you can damage the router and make it unusable. They have very good instructions for most routers. I would not normally recommend this as a beginner project but it is the only way you will stay within your price range.
It is a complete waste of time to even try to do what you want on this router. To even partially (bit torrent is tough) fix this you need a router that restrict inbound traffic to set levels.

Most routers the QoS is a complete scam. Almost nobody is exceeding their upload bandwidth it is always the download. The router can only apply rules to traffic it is sending. To oversimplify to a point if a users says "give me file xxxxxx" and then server sends it. How much can you really limit the sent request "give me file xxxxx" when the incoming file could be any size. The only time you can use this type of QoS is if your were for example running bit torrent and seeding files but it is much easier to limit from inside the application.
