Hello
I will be building a new PC soon around December and I was wonder if a single GTX 770 2gb card would be able two run two monitors. They will be both used for gaming at 1080p res or is there something better but my budget is around $450 for graphics

Solution
You can do dual monitors with a GTX 770, but if you're planning on gaming, you will be limited to only 1 monitor. Nvidia Surround requires 3 monitors if you want to game across multiple monitors. AMD Radeon cards with Eyefinity will allow you to game across 2 monitors, but keep in mind that the bezel will be right in the center of your vision. If you plan on gaming across multiple monitors, I would recommend using 3 monitors because of the bezel, which the GTX 770 will do. If you're set on using just 2, then you will need to get a Radeon card.

i was doing some researching and i realized i can get a gtx 770 4gb ftw edition for around the same price as the first build if i downgrade the amount of ram to 8gbs. which is more important.
