For whatever reason I'm having a lot of trouble playing most of my games without fps problems. I understand the problems being on the total war games I play, since they are single core. But for Chivalry: Medieval Warfare I have almost everything to low or medium and still get fps drops up to 20 rather often. Same thing has started happening for Red Orchestra 2. My specs are:

i5-3470 3.2GHz
Sapphire HD 7870 OC edition
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Seasonic 620w PSU

I have 13.4 drivers installed (not so sure about installing the beta drivers). I play everything at 1080p. Though if I lower the resolution the performance doesn't seem to get any better or any worse. I always turn shadows off and AA off as well, or as low as it will allow me.

If you have any advice it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Erm.....windows 8? THat's about all I can think of for other specs? :/

Playing War Thunder right now with pretty much everything High and the CPU temps are about 67. Which isn't a problem eh? And GPU is mostly around 62 during this game.
