Hi! I bought a brand new corsair HX750(80plus gold) and its making strange buzzing noise. And its not just making it while the computer is ON its even making it even if the computer is OFF! Whenever its plugged in its making the same buzzing noise. And an RMA will cost me $80 from my country so im just asking if its harmless. I can just ignore the noise if its harmless

It's probably 50Hz/60Hz hum from the transformer that powers the +5Vsb circuit. This circuit is always powered even when the computer is shut down as long as the PSU is still plugged into the AC outlet and receiving power from the power grid and its power switch, if it has one, is turned on. This circuit provides the +5Vsb power to the motherboard (i.e. allows the motherboard to power up when the computer case's power switch is pressed) and also provides power for the PSU's protection circuits (i.e. if those protection circuits are present).

Transformer hum is annoying but harmless.
