Im not sure weather to get another gtx 670 for sli or sell my gtx 670 when a newer better single card comes out since i prefer single card gaming. i want something thats better than the 780 but not 1000 dollars like the titan, something inbetween i guess is what im saying. my psu is 750W, i belive thats enough for two 670s correct me if im wrong and my cpu is fine i5-4670k
edit: i dont have a warrentee on my card so would it be possible to overclock for awhile and then bring it back to factory specs if i wanted to add another 670?

Solution
I agree. GTX670 is still quite potent. Unless the price comes down on the GTX780 only a GTX770 would really make a significant impact, and then would still only be a marginal increase.

I am sticking with my GTX580 SLI until the 800 series comes out.

i also did some research about the amd 9000 series coming soon. im not to familiar with amd cards but do they have good improvments when they release a next gen card or do they release similar/same cards but with higher clockspeeds kinda like the 680 and 770. im looking at the 9970 when its released

the 9000 series is also gonna be based on 28nm, as 20nm won't be ready for mass production till 2Q'14, and then Apple and Qualcomm will take up all the initial chips so nVidia/AMD cannot get anything till mid 2014
also it is said that AMD might bring out something close to 780/Titan performance in the 9970, its gonna be priced quite competitively from what rumours state, but again as its still on 28nm i see no reason to upgrade
