Is this a good, reliable SSD?

Solution
wouldn't waste my time on that.

plextor/corsair/samsung/seagate/toshiba ( green box )/Intel

also, you want something made after the middle of 2012. anything before that I don't care for........... unless it's just for storage.

refllect

I'm looking for something to hold my OS and games. Can you recommend a cheap, reliable SSD?

if i said you should read the reviews................ 30% gave it 1egg......................... if you look up the return rates on ocz drives or the reliability of, if you look at what drives were returned and sell as refurbished...............

if you shop by price or want to buy cheap you need to wait until a good drive comes along and buy it when you see it. If you buy cheap for the sake of buying cheap, that's what you get, cheap/unreliable.

the green box toshiba is a good drive. was $99 I think. even that one goes for $80 if you buy it right. I have one of those on an APU build.
