Hey guys just wanted to know what is the prefer brand i should get for the GTX 770. I have heard good things about thee EVGA customer services but also heard many people arguing that the windforce gigabyte and the ASUS one is better. Anywho for my build that i am making soon, which brand would be best? or does it even matter lol. Thanks!

Here is my planning build - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1wflo

i should go for one from MSI, theyre always good with coolers and OC.(MSI GTX770 Gaming edition)
and yes it matters a lot.

Evga with the ACX is pretty good. However MSI is also good as someone said. The difference between them is negligible, just see which one you can get cheaper :p

The MSI GTX 770 is a great card (i have one). i picked it mainly for the red/black colour theme. But it runs cool and quietly. Think this is due to having 2 big fans over 3 smaller fans like the gigabyte windforce.

but saying that; there isn't going to be much if any performance difference between different gtx 770's. So pick the one you like most, thats goes with your build and is in your budget.

@computersloeber i think $400 is the right price for that card not sure if you meant by "it comes at a price" that its higher priced than the others or not.

Gigabyte windforce and ASUS DirectCU are great cards, you can not go wrong with either. they both use top end parts and have great coolers. so they run cooler and overclock/boost higher than NVidia's reference cards :)

well i just checked the default and boost speeds on the ASUS, Gigabyte, EVGA and MSI gtx 770 $399 or under on pcpartpicker. And the gigabyte has the fastest default speeds. don't know if that helps.

just remember the difference in speeds if very small and will not make much off a difference in game play if any.

So if you like the EVGA the most then go for it. either way its going to be a great card :)

No problem computersloeber, but I am still debating on either the Gigabyte wind force, EVGA, or the MSI hmm

Thanks GeekThief that does help but i am still leaning towards the EVGA maybe because it is my first real gaming video card and it is the most the safest because of its good customer service and support? idk but im deciding in a week and if i still feel the way i am now i will just go with the EVGA. thanks a lot for the help guys!

If it matters for you the Gigabythe one is quietest card, and also comes with the best overclock, and good cooling.
Its one of the cheapest models too.
But the other models are fine too, and once they are all overclocked the differences are marginal, so i guess the cheapest would be the best.
