Which GTX770 to take?

I'm planning to purchase a GTX 770, but there are 3 versions of the GTX 770 that interests me. I'm not sure which would be the best deal for me.

Overclock: I'm inexperienced with overclocking graphic cards. Does it need a special cooler like you do for CPU's? If yes: then I will not overclock it. If no: I might overclock it.

SLI: I've owned a pair of 6950 set in CF. I nearly never got to experience the strength of it, I was in most cases better off with one card. SLI might be different, so it's possible I might buy a second card next year or after, depending on the evolution and pricing of graphic cards.

These are the 3 GTX 770 I've got my eyes on:
- MSI N770 Lightning
- MSI GTX 770 Gaming (N770 TF 4GD5/OC)
- MSI N770-2GD5/OC

Which one of the three would be the best deal for me? I've also noticed that the N770-2GD5/OC has a non-OC version.

Also please notice that my case allows max 300mm (30cm) for the length of the card.

If you need more info please ask! It's an expensive card, I don't want to regret anything.

is should go for the lightning if u want to overclock, this one has a good cooler and options for it.
the gaming is also a good choice, but less expensive and without the overclock options.
good luck with it! (PS,there all a good choice)

Well I would have to say GIGABYTE takes the cake on this one. I'm actually doing the same research as you are. I would either go GIGABYTE or ASUS Direct CU II. But because GIGABYTE offers freeshipping on newegg, it becomes an easier choice also the ASUS is 10$ more. MSI is great though, but personally, the GIGABYTE version screams apparently and has excellent cooling.

You can't overclock the 4GB one? I thought you could since they added OC at the end of the name, which I assumed stands for OverClocking.

I won't be buying from newegg since I live in Belgium, Europe. As for prices, the 4GB is about 10 bucks more expensive then the Lightning, and the MSI N770-2GD5/OC is about 30-40 bucks cheaper then the Lightning, so I was wondering why it's so much cheaper then it's Lightning version.
