Hi.

My pc is a C2D e8400 3ghz, 4gb ram and HD 5850 xtreme 1gb. Now I go to buy a new tower with 4770k + 16gb ram and with the GPU I have 2 options:

1) Buy now the GTX 760 and in 3 years updating it with an supposed GTX 1060.
2) Stand with my HD 5850 xtreme until Q1 2014 and buy then the GTX 860 for the next 3-4 years.

Also, If I go with option two, will I gain many fps only with the change of CPU and ram or will be similar?

Any recommendations will help me, thanks!

Yes, the GTX 760 is faster at stock and will allow you to enable PhysX in the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts game.

Either way you're going to be bottlenecking it on the old system.

If that's your new system, grab a 770. It's the best price for your performance.

Even with a switch to a smaller die size, it's unlikely the upcoming 860 will outpace the 760 by a large margin, also, the 760 *just* came out, so it'll be awhile before that 860 comes knocking at your door. I say go with the GTX 760.

Thanks.

Then I will buy now, a gigabyte GTX 760 OC rev2, or else the sapphire HD 7950 OC Vapor-X at same price, I won't do GPU overclock, so the 760 is better than 7950 at stock's clock right?
