Since my old headset was unplugged from my computer the Realtek Audio manager has not been working properly, when I plug in the new headset into the rear ports it keeps coming up with Reloading Devices over and over again as well as the popup in the tray saying the device was unplugged/plugged, when I plug them into the front ports they connect fine however I do not have any audio apart from a very faint buzzing, and the mic does not work, I have read up on these issues and have found that a lot of people have had this issue with this mobo and have had to send it back as a result, so far I have tried installing and uninstalling drivers and tweaking settings to no avail, any suggestions?

Solution
well that sucks, if the board is still in RMA then send it away to get a replacement, if its not just buy a cheap soundcard like the Asus Xonar DGX, its a nice little card and will probably sound better than the onboard audio.

I have already tried to uninstall the drivers and re install new ones, it has not seemed to work, however I have not completely deleted the files, would you know where to find them?

I am unable to update my BIOS for some reason, through both the ASUSUpdate tool which says the model is incompatible or even through the DOS and using a BIOS file to update, not sure what to do from here.

The Bios update fixed another problem but sadly not the one I'm trying to fix, it's looking increasingly likely that I will have to get a replacement board. Thanks for the help
