My Belkin N52TE has gone crazy

Hello,

As my title would suggest, one moment my N52TE was working fine, the next it was firing out the number 3 and I couldn't stop it until I unplugged it. I deleted a profile but it continued to cause problems, making my computer slow up, my browser to become unresponsive and open lots of tabs, and my mouse to act oddly.

Has anyone else come across this problem and what can I do about it?

Just before you posted I had uninstalled the software. Then, after your suggestion I plugged the n52te back in and was able to download the software from the belkin website. However, during the download the computer seemed to stop working properly. I could move my cursor with my mouse but it was unable to click on anything. The only way to get it working again was to remove the n52te and restart the computer.

Hi, I installed everything but there isn't an improvement. Using the device manager I did a troubleshoot but it said it was working okay. Is there something else I can do?

I've taken it apart but I can't see anything obvious that is stuck. It all seems to work as it should. Saying that, I don't know anything about electronics apart from how to clean it.
