So when i have games in my internal HDD there are some FPS drop spikes.

Could it be slow or is it because it is old? i have it over 4 years sitting in there...

Full specification of tha drive :
Hard Disk : Western Digital WD5000AAVS-22G9B1 ATA Device (500GB)

What're the rest of your specs? Additionally, do you have other storage drives to compare it to or is that the only drive you've tested the game(s) on? If this is the only drive you've tested the game(s) on, it's probably because your hardware is too weak to handle the games.

Definately not weak...
I have tested on my INTENSO 750GB (External HDD) and games run perfectly!

green drives go to 'sleep' fairly quickly to save power.. hence the 'Green' moniker.
Whats happening is his drive is going to sleep and then being woke up by the game needing something and naturally it has to spin back up to speed first. This green setting is internal to the hdd and not affected by the normal windows settings.

Grab a new drive and use this for a backup.
