Not sure Xfired 7870's are working right.

I had a GTX 670 and my brother had a 7870.. after looking online, Ive seen that 2 7870's out performed 670sli in BF3, which shocked me that 2 $200 cards out did 2 $350 cards... So, I traded him cards, and got another 7870... Got it hooked up, AMD Cat. says Xfire is enabled.. but when I check my FPS in BF3 with all ultra settings at 1080 on a 32" LED tv... Im staying steady at 60FPS... it may dip down to 55-58...... but shouldnt I be getting more than that?

80-135 sounds a little better. All the benchmarks I have seen show a single 7870 getting ~50 fps at 1920x1080, Ultra settings. I'd expect a Crossfire setup to get about 50% more.

As for why BF3 sets settings to medium on auto, not sure there. If it runs acceptably with the overridden settings you picked, I wouldn't mess with it.
