I'm building my first pc and i want to know if my parts will work with eachother because i'm new with pc's
I'm naming the parts now

CPU:AMD FX6300

GPU: SAPPHIRE HD 7850 OC 2GB GDDR5

motherboard: asus m5a97 r2.0 ATX am3+

case: thermaltake v3 black edition midi tower

power supply: xfx pro550w

optical drive: Normal cd drive (i know it isn't important)

hdd: western digital caviar blue 1tb 3.5'' 7200rpm

ram/memory: 8gb Don't know which one yet

Do i need anything else for my first build ?

And will everything work together?

Whats your budget?
Please could you link us to your other thread?

there are some parts that I wouldn't reccommend, that is the ram and that PSU. But providing us with your budget and whether or not you want to overclock and have a crossfire/SLI upgrade path would also be useful.

btw the ram is 2x4 not 1x8 if you didn't knew that
My budget for this pc is 620-630€
my budget for the ram and the power supply 130, (Powersupply: 50,00€ and the ram is 70€
And im not going to overclock but i dont know what crossfire and sli means
btw do you think i should overcolck?

Look for a branded PSU like a corsair, XFX, seasonic, Antec and there are others. Just make sure they have good professional reviews from reliable sources like Jonnyguru.

the ram i was saying was not too great because it runs at 1333Mhz, toms did a review on the performance difference between ram speeds and found the jump from 1333 to 1600 is enough to advise the upgrade.

Everything else is fine, could you link me to your other thread with the graphics card choice links?

[EDIT]: found your other thread, and out of the choices you gave the SAPPHIRE HD 7850 OC is the best.

Nope, the most you can do is click the "pick as best solution" button next to a post :)
