Computer turning itself on

I recently built my first computer, and I am having issues with it turning itself on. I shut it down every night, and most mornings when I get up it has turned itself back on.

I cannot find any wake on lan settings in the BIOS, but have set the AC back to always off. I have also disabled the options to wake from mouse or keyboard.

I went through every option in the device manager and task scheduler and ensured that nothing was able to wake the computer, but the problem still persists.

Where it gets really weird is that I have a dodgy wireless router; I sometimes have to unplug it, wait a few seconds and plug it back in again to get it to work. Whenever I do this, the computer will turn on!

I am at a complete loss as to what is going on, any help would be much appreciated.

Honestly, I really couldn't resist the urge:

In all seriousness though, it's possibly a dodgy case? Or perhaps the f_panel2 power button connector on your motherboard isn't connected properly. It's probably a long shot, but try reseating anyway.
