Hello people of TomsHardware, I have finally made an account here to ask this question and fix my problem...

This is my PC: http://pcpartpicker.com/b/ApB

Now for the problem...

When I first put my rig together at the beginning of the year it was super fast, cold boot from shut down in ~10 sec, wakes up from sleep faster than my monitor (only one at the time lol) could.

Fast forward to a month or so ago. I have my H100i, braided cable extensions, and fans waiting to be installed. Installed them successfully, boots up the in the same time it usually does. I put it to sleep, later I wake it up expecting it to come back to life in the blink of an eye, but instead I have to wait ~20 sec because it freezes. It happens in a few different variations. It will freeze at the lock screen, and I will be in able to click it, it will freeze at the logging in think where it shows my user name, pic, etc. Or it will freeze on the desktop, I will be able to click things and close them, but nothing will open up until it is done being slow. And one of the things I notice is that when it gets to the desktop it the taskbar icon says it is not connected to the internet, but as soon as it unfreezes it connects to the internet.

The only thing I did different when putting it back together was I plugged my SSD (OS obviously) and WD Black into the ASmedia SATA controller ports instead of the Z77 controlled ones, to making my cables a bit nicer. I haven't tried switching them back, wanted to get another opinion before I try that. I find it strange that after I install the H100i it acts up. And the DP ports on my 7970 stopped working (Linkage failure) not sure if these problems are related, but I have worked around the DP one haha.
