I have tried several times to install this update:

Update for Windows 8 for x64-based Systems (KB2779768)

I can install any and all updates but this one. Anyone else have this problem?

I starts like everything is working fine and then fails. None of the help features suggested my Microsoft have fixed this issue.

Are your time and date settings correct? I have fixed the vast majority of update problems I have run across by syncing my time settings with Microsoft servers. Something that is worth a shot if you haven't tried it already.
