Hi guys,
I have a Asus p8z77 v lx motherboard which came with AI Suite II on a cd and I used the Turbo V Evo thingy on extreme setting and it ocd my i5 3570k which was usually around 3.8 (cuz it clocked itself normally from 3,5-3,8)
And after couple of testing where it restarted my pc 2 times (you know how it asks if you are ok with the current, you wait and then it goes stability testing again) So I just let it do its thing (hoping it wouldnt go up to infinite) and then it came with "congratulations" your cpu was ocd to 4.5 ghz.
My question is. It set the voltage to 1.370, and the temps in hwmonitor were at 74-78 during gaming. I read that having the voltage close to 1.4 is bad
The funny thing is that hwmonitor also shown that vcore (i suppose thats the voltage) have been at max points at 1.425 (but only briefly because when I looked it jumped there from time to time (every 10+ sec). Hwmonitor also gives a VID voltage which is max at 1.26. Can someone explain me the vcore and vid?
I read alot here and I didnt quite understand what happens if I decrease the voltage. I know that you may say that I should use bios but I am really unsure and nervous when using it so I just used this auto settings. I have that basic hyper 212+ evo cooler.

So well, what should I do? It seems to be stable cuz I was just rockin bf3 for like 2 hours. Thats where I got the results from.
Is it safe? Any risk on long term view?

PS. Reason of the OC was BF3 perfomance cuz using GeForce Experience to set the settings for game (bf3 isnt full ultra) gave me 38-43, considering I have gtx 560 ti. So after this OC I magically have 52-70 fps.

Ok so, I restored the Clock settings using bios and then ran Turbo V evo again but this time on Fast settings and ended up with 4.25 ghz 1.2 voltage.
(it didnt let me think straight)
But I would still like if anyone could answer some of those questions in my main post pleas :)
