I'm just trying to figure out if there's anything else that I can do that will give me noticeable performance in gaming (besides a second graphics card).

I have:
CPU: i5 3570k oc'd to 4.5ghz liquid-cooled
MOBO: Asrock Z77 Pro4
PSU: Corsair GS800 Gamer Series
GPU: EVGA GTX780
RAM: 8GB gskill sniper series @1866

I really just want to know if there's something I'm missing that can increase my performance before a second 780, or if there's a bottleneck somewhere. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Solution
Bf3 actually does better on an I7.

One of the few that do. I don't know if you can get 60+ fps on Bf3 without using an Ivy bridge-e cpu.

And yes, it's more demanding on multiplayer.
No, for that build you are pretty maxed out. Depending on the game, adding a second 780 would benefit you, also going with a 3770k as well(once again, that really depends on the game as there are few that take advantage of the I7). If you are playing at 1080p, there is no game out right now that you can't play on Ultra graphics detail.

Is multiplayer more demanding? Because that's usually where I run into some slowdowns with graphics maxed out: Battlefield 3, Crysis 3... Battlefield really only on large maps with a lot of players. I want to be able to run supersampling on everything with 60 fps minimum. I am playing at 1080p. I also do some minor 3d gaming but I realize to get steady 60fps with some demanding games I'm going to need a second card.

I've heard that a SSD doesn't help with gaming performance, but only load times. Not sure if that's true or not because I don't have one lol.

Ya, I noticed I had better performance on BF3 with my old amd 8120 cpu. But when I switched to intel I had MUCH smoother gameplay on all games.
