Hello everyone I just purchased a GTX 690 and a new i7 3770k and I'm having this weird problem of screen flickering in the games. It's like black bars that just flicker in and out.

**I have installed latest Nvidia drivers, I checked the refresh rate because i have a 120hz monitor**

System Specs
8GB Corsair Vengence
Gigabyte Z77-d3h
Corsair 850 W Bronze
GTX 690
Intel i7-3770k

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Frappa,

I don't think its the CPU issue, I think it's more of your GPU.

Can you trying removing the 690 and running with integrated CPU in a game like counter strike?

Make sure you run GPU stresstesting (Furmark for 30 minutes), and CPU stresstesting (Since your Ivy Bridge, Prime 95 for (2 (if your stock) - 24 hours (if you're overclocked))

Oh and are you overclocked?

Hey! I solved it, I just took out the 690 and reseated it again and it seems to be working flawlessly now!

Thanks for the reply Dave!

Not a problem, the littlest of things can mean everything.
