Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a new keyboard and mouse for a new build and looking to save money. So my question is, if I buy a used logitech keyboard or mouse that doesn't have the software with it, can I download everything I need from the logitech website to make all the extra features work properly?

Thanks,
Derek

ya, the driver(s) and software on disc would be out of date anyway

Plus if you know the models you're going to get, go to the website and see for yourself. But if it's just a "normal" keyboard it won't need anything. The mouse will need a driver, maybe an app as well.

Yeah I was looking at their site, just wasn't sure exactly what it needs.

http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support/4259?osid=14&softwareid=10878&section=downloads&crid=411&bit=64

Both are for gaming but I don't think the G105 keyboard supports anything fancy. The mouse has a couple of features like the dpi controls and stuff.
