So i finally got tired of my Lenovo g570 failing to run Team fortress 2 and Planetside 2 (on the lowest possible settings). So i decided that i should build my own computer. I don't have a lot of money so i gave myself a budget of $350. I don't have any experience doing this. I did however make a list of what i would need (got a general list of what i would need of Google). Here is a list of what i found. Will it work at all as a computer. Any estimates on how well it would work?

Good call on building your own machine!

Checked out your parts, your main problem is that you selected an Intel CPU with an AMD based motherboard. So you need to change that. I would suggest, rather than going with an Intel CPU and a crappy AMD graphics card, save a couple bucks, and go with an AMD APU (gaming graphics, albeit it low-end, combined with the CPU).

It will run you a bit less and probably be way better performance. If you did something like that you will need to change your mobo to something like this:

Maybe switch up your RAM with a two stick set, like this...

These options are all hitting, or beating your price points, so hopefully that is helpful. Estimate on how well it will work? Better than what you've got now, but it's not going to be maxing any decent games, unfortunately. Then again, nothing will if it doesn't cost you at least $600 or so.

Cheers

Sure, the 7770 is better, but saying "apu graphics are still not as good as a gpu" is not always true. You can get a crappier dedicated GPU than that APU any day.
