I just bought a gigabyte GA-880GM-D2H REV 1.3 motherboard. It works fine with 2 gb ddr3 memory on first slot, but the problem happens when I add another 2 gb ddr3 memory on the second slot. The computer starts beeping and won't boot. I thought I needed to update the bios so I tried that but my current bios is newer then the one that was released. And I tried to change the memory mode from unganged to ganged mode from the bios as it was explained on the gigabyte website. I tried everything, even called tech support for help. Just that second memory slot isn't working or do I have to change it to ganged mode? no clue what so ever. I need help please!

Solution
The beeping and not booting is a failed POST (Power-on Self Check.) It beeps and stops the computer from booting for safety reasons. It might be a dead RAM module, try taking the original one out and using the second one only.
