Is it a good idea to put and operating system and games on a single SSD?

Well, its not a bad idea.
Storage performance wont really impact on game performance, and if it did you have them running off an SSD so even that minimal performance loss would be made that much smaller.

IMO just dont put your games on there, no doubt the space can be better used as games only benefit from SSD's in load times.
