Looking for quick fast linux?

Looking for a quick booting linux distro or soemthing else just so I can dual boot with windows and boot into the linux if I need to quickly access internet or other idle things.

I looked at a few but I just need one that I can run a word processor like Microsoft word (whatever the Linux equivalent is) or start up a browser to watch YouTube or check email.

Put both on a flash drive if you want, take it anywhere with you.

For word processing, any Linux distro can run LibreOffice or OpenOffice, which edits Word-compatible files.

Many Linux distros might fit your need, among them Mint (widely used, uses the big Ubuntu library of free programs), Puppy (very small, very fast), Ubuntu (once the most popular, maybe not now that they've changed the user interface). Good luck.
