Its 8am.. I stayed up all night working on this thing (first time building PC by myself)
I had a PC already working, I just upgraded it with a new mobo, graphics card, and processor.
Power supply worked before I swapped parts out. I checked the one checklist troubleshooting thread about no startup. I went through all the steps. No luck.
All my cables are connected as far as I know. I checked pretty thoroughly.
One thing I think could be the problem is: with my original parts, I had to use the reset button to turn on my PC, as I guess the power switch doesn't work or something. I've always used the reset switch to turn on my PC since it was built roughly 4yrs ago by my dad n his friend.
(Basically, I think he put the reset switch into the power spot on the mobo.)
I tried putting reset switch into power spot and vice versa, no luck..
Only thing I haven't ruled out yet is that. So if I could rule out that it isn't my case's fault, then ill have no clue why the PC is not booting up.
help would greatly be appreciated :/ I'm tempted to just get geekaquad or something to check it out.. :c
This is my last hope haha Idk what to do :/
Specs are:
Geforce Gtx 660
Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 mobo
Cooler master RP-600-PCAR (600WATTS I believe)
Amd fx 6core 3.5ghz fx6300 socket am3+
4Gigs ddr3 ram
