Monitor says no signal, but mobo properly functioned prior and booted to its interface?

Hi, guys.

This is my first time building a pc so please bear with me.
My problem lies in that my monitor does not recognize the signal between it and my PC anymore, apparently.
Prior to finally realizing that I hadn't connected the CPU to the MOBO I had gone through several trial and error type things, when it turned out to be just that, a cable I forgot to connect to install.

I had successfully booted the MOBO's interface and went to look for the bios, and realized I hadn't properly connected the SATA cables, so therefore the bios would not load up, maybe there's a trend going on here, but after properly connecting the SATA cables to the Optical and Solid State Drive, it would not recognize my PC as it did a few minutes ago.

I can't really pinpoint what had gone wrong, during my time within the mobo's interface I had messed around with some settings that perhaps made it so my computer couldn't recognize my PC. I also inserted a driver disk and windows 7 disk foolishly into the optical drive, I also restarted within the interface with the disk in the optical drive in hopes that perhaps this wasn't where I would find the BIOS.
So was inserting the disks prior to actually setting up the BIOS a big mistake and could I have accidentally flipped something within the interface to make it so my monitor wouldn't interact with my PC?
Or is there another cable that I didn't connect properly?

I'll be posting status updates as I go along figuring this out.

My build is
i5 3570k
Evga 650 Ti Boost
Seasonic 620W
Asrock Z77 Extreme 3

Reoriented case fan to PSU molex connector and removed motherboard battery to reset BIOS.

I've rechecked all of the appropriate cables to make sure that they are fastened, and I have tightened my CPU heat sink/fan a littler more.

Will be trying to see if it will work after this and post my results.

If this does not work I may check the CPU.

I had to remove Ram and GPU, Ram for CPU Heatsink/Fan allocation and GPU due to the battery being under it.

Reinserted battery, reinstalled GPU.
Reinserted Heatsink fan, reinserted ram.

Will attempt boot ups now.
The monitor instructions are pretty iffy as well, so that DEFINITELY does not help at all. Will be back in a bit.

It does not work, I've tried several combinations of wiring, even as the manual states.

Primarily how the manual states to do it, so I dabbled into other combinations of joining the cables.

DVI with VGA, Dvi with VGA with HDMI.
The manual states to only connect DVI to both the monitor and PC while HDMI and VGA only to be connected to the computer, but what purpose does that serve?
It also says to turn the monitor on first and then the computer, but it doesn't state what "on" would be considered as, whether a full cycle of it showing if it can find the cables or just after seeing the Acer logo pop up.

Could my mishandling with the power switch have ruined the CPU? Such as plugging cables in and out with the power attached, but not on?

Everything works when I turn it on, my optical drive, my case fans, my CPU Heatsink/fan, my GPU fan and my power supply fan, and if that's so that must mean that the motherboard is well and alive considering the power of the CPU Heatsink/fan comes from the PSU's cables itself mounted onto the motherboard.

I may end up calling Acer, but I'll continue fiddling :(
