I just used Minitool Partition Wizards to increase the size of my bootcamp partition from 100 GB to 200 GB (stealing 100 from the OSX partition).

While in Windows, it correctly sees the drives as being 200GB.
While in OSX, it reports the Bootcamp partition as still being 100GB.

This appears to be some kind of reporting discrepancy in OSX.

Any idea on how I might resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Setup:
  • OSX 18.8.4
    Intel based Macbook Pro
    Windows 7 Pro (Bootcamp)

Solution
GPT has two copies of the partition table (in case of damage), Apple tools correctly update both copies, Windows based tools often only update the first partition table and ignore the second, that's why the two are now out of step; in (OS X) Disk Utilities, select the main drive (not partition) and run a Verify Disk, see what it reports.
