My laptop died on me today. I've been trying to turn it on and it does, yet nothing appears on the screen. It shows lights on and stuff, but I hear no fan noises working and the like. It can still charge. I read that I can change the HDD or use it with an enclosure for another laptop. But how do I know my HDD is not messed up? I should also note that I've had battery issues with it before; I have to use it with the charger always. The battery icon would say that I should change the battery and I have.
