Well hello there, this is my first post here and im kinda desperate,,,,,
After my 6850 died(first BSOD then the screen started changing colors and going wild, to eventually freezing my pc) I a got a new msi7850oc and I formatted my PC so I can have a clean start, everything was going well until i started any newer game. The computer freezes, crashes with the sound looping and also the graphics card vent sometimes just revs to like 100%, i have tried uninstalling drivers several times, putting the computer thru a lot of stress test and nothing, only when i play games it crashes.

I am aware that this is lets say common problem with the 7850 but I am yet to find a solution. I would like to point out that a long with my gpu i bought 4 more gigs of ram which i checked to see if they are properly plugged in and its fine.

Im 99% that its the 7850 problem but i really need you advice; can I solve it somehow or should i just demand a new graphics card, could the older graphics card damaged the graphics card slot on the mainboard, does msi or ati have a solution for this, pls help guys.

Ty and sorry for bad English is not my native lanugage

asus m4a88t-m/usb3 - mainboard
amd phenom II x4 955 - proc
i have corsair 600w and use win7 64bit

the thing is i already saw tons of basically the same problems with this card, and the symptoms are 100% alike others, still couldn't fix it tho, some say the card some factory issues, other say its the ati drivers ( tried all kinds of different drivers, no change), I could ask a new one from the shop but what if its not the gpu, and what card should i get so i wouldn't have drivers issues again cause I really like the 7850

Its less then 2 years old, i really don't think its the PSU cause if it really was the psu should it crash on my friends 7950 aswell
Im not at home atm, going to try memtest when i get home

As for a 'different' card, You could try a GeForce GTX 650 TI Boost. Similar performance, maybe a little better, and a little cheaper too: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-650-ti-boost-gk106-benchmark,3463.html

cant try the memtest cause I cant enter bios even after pressing del repeatedly and getting to the "enter password" part I press enter and nothing happens....

on the other note; someone here said that mine main board has a on board gpu, how does that work, is it already mounted somewhere or something cause i cant see it (did not build this pc myself its possible the shop guys took it off)
