Hey guys,
Recently i've purchased Deepcool Z5 to replace the exiting paste so that it can cool down my system. Before replacing the thermal paste my CPU consistently overheats when loading some flash media or watching youtube videos ( I don't play games on lappy ).

I've enabled "overheating protection" in coretemp and configured it to my needs, so it basically put my laptop to sleep when it reaches 89ºc (tjºmax is 90c) so that i can prevent sudden shutdown ,etc.

After applying deepcool z5 thermal paste my CPU won't overheat but computer still shuts down. I'd applied it on both CPU and GPU core with care. So now maximum temp i've recorded for CPU is 81ºc and for GPU is 83ºc (GPU tjºmax 105c) .

Also i've recently bought a brand new HDD for my laptop because previous one was gone kaput. HDD temp varies from 33ºc to 45ºc which IMO is fine.

I am unable to rectify the issue ,why my lappy shuts down so suddenly even its not overheating ? I ran windows experience index benchmark and it shuts off itself, I had both coretemp and gpu monitor running, they both shows off 73ºc and 83ºc respectively before my laptop turned off automatically. What the heck is going on ?

Let me know if you need anymore information!

Please help!!!

Update: I I've placed a portable fan under my laptop and temps are now great! Now cpu and GPU reaches 62ºc and 74ºc under full load respectively. But my laptop still shuts down ! I re-run the Windows experience index and in the middle of nowhere laptop shuts down itself.

I noticed something popping-up before it shuts-down. I think it was a dialog box. Is there any way I could see what was the reason of the shutdown in windows's log files ??

Please help , I am really stressed.
