More than enough. Won't leave a lot of room for overclocking CPU depending on the PSU's continuous wattage delivery.
  2. yes it will work fine
  3. Thank you all! Btw. , I'm not sure how you guys are familiar with it but I would like to play a game called skyrim! Is it possible to play this game on like let's say, high settings with my amd athlon II x3 450? I was able to play it with my Ati radeon hd 5700

EDIT: Also the title is slightly misleading. The gpu im targeting is Sapphire radeon hd 7770 not just radeon hd 7770
  4. This is a handy tool at Anandtech: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/189

and the GPU benchmark tool: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/777

With comparable games, it looks like you might be able to play at high settings, depending on your resolution. (1920x1080?) If there is a limiting factor, it will definitely by your CPU/chipset platform before the GPU.

http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2012/02/15/amd-radeon-hd-7770-1gb-review/6 Of course the OC edetion is better, so expect better performance
  6. i would say with the 7770 you can run vanilla skyrim(no mods or ini tweaks) maxed out at 1080p. as soon as you start tweaking the ini and perf settings or installing mods, the performance will drop through the floor.
  7. THANKS VERY MUCH! I just wanna make sure for the last time that when i buy that GPU tommorow that I won't be tricked. So it can run on my 400 W PSU or not? This is my last question, THANKS ALL!
  8. make sure it has a 6pin pcie power cable

    I have this PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817104046
Is it okay for this gpu? Does it have this 6 pin?
  10. It has a single one, it will work.

    Thank you, fella!
I have already chosen the best answer but you have been very helpful so I thank you too!
  12. In general a 400w PSU should be able to handle an OC'ed Radeon HD 7770. The max power draw will be in the low 90's watts. A stock Radeon HD 7770 maxes out at 83w.

What CPU are you using? AMD CPUs uses more power than Intel CPUs. For example under stress, the FX-8350 uses more than 100w of power than an i5-4670k under full stress.

I use AMD athlon ii x3 450 though when i used something called watt calculator on the internet it told me that my system should draw little more than 300 w
