I've read the other posts. I've tried it, and get a signal there-- but it tells me that I have to subscribe. I take the box home and it works fine-- I bring it back and it repeats. Am I aimed at a different salilite? It's only 100 miles away from my home. Suggestions? Stymied in Badgerland

From my understanding, you have to call Direct TV, and "disable" service at your house, and "enable" the service at the vacation home. Back when I had direct TV, there was a phone hookup, and if the box was without power for more than 30 minutes, it needed to utilize the phone line to resubscribe the service (they used the landline to verify your location).
