Well i am looking to get a big gaming laptop that i can keep for some years. Due to the nature of my work(ship officer) i cant move around a desktop all the time so i am looking for a really good gaming laptop. With budget around 5000 eurosI was looking around and found a few high end ones like msi gt70 2OD 039US and alienware 18.A big difference that i see is the dual graphic cards on alienware 18, does it rly change the performance so much that is worth it? Would it be a lott better to have dual gtx 780m for future and mire demanding games?

Solution
With dual gpu inside you can get more performance although it will not exactly double because it depends on scaling. The only down side is it depends heavily on gpu driver to work. If there is no profile for it in the driver the second card will not be able to help the performance at all. SLI is quite mature right now and most triple A games will get support at lauch or close after launch. But sometime there are still triple A games with no SLI or CF support.
