Hi there, I'm about to purchase a new Clevo P170SM laptop with a GTX 780M graphics card and I was wondering about which CPU I should buy.
the 4700MQ is 2.4GHz, the 4800MQ is 2.7GHz and the 4900MQ is 2.8GHz.
Both the 4700/4800 have a 6MB cache and the 4900 has an 8MB cache.
I know practically nothing about CPU's, but I plan to use the laptop mostly for gaming, is there any advantage over buying one of the higher end CPU's or will they all perform the same in most games?
The price difference between the 4700 and 4800 is only £100 so I was going to buy the 4800, but if there is no noticeable difference for me then I'll just buy the 4700MQ.
