I'm looking to buy a tablet, and am torn between the Samsung ATIV 7 and the Razer Edge Pro. Really I'm wanting full HD for movies and still the power to play EVE online from my tablet via keyboard dock. So I'm wondering do I go for the Nvidia GT 640M that's in the Razer or is the Intel HD 4000 in the Samsung suitable for my needs?

Solution
I would suggest you wait to buy a tablet if it's purpose is that of gaming. At this point, with Razer releasing updated laptops with 700 series cards, the Edge and Edge Pro will most likely also get updates with much higher performance and better batter life. Wait and you will most likely (unless youre nuts) be more satisfied that the money you spent went to the best you could get.

Now that that's out of the way... Intel HD 4000 mobile graphics should handle EVE Online at Low to Medium settings. the 640m LE is about 60% better though, so the performance with EVE would also be better. I hope this helps!

Well EVE is pretty CPU bound, so considering that the decision is easy, the Razer has a much higher CPU clock rate and a larger cache as well.
The GPU is better, but not the deciding factor for EVE in my opinion.

Short answer, Razer is best.
Depending on the price difference, its hard to say, but HD4000 graphics WILL struggle at full HD due to a lack of dedicated VRAM.
