The title says it all....
Computer specs:
AMD FX-6100 3.30 GHz Six Core AM3+ Unlocked CPU
ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS AMD 760G AM3+ Motherboard
4 gb of ram
WD Blue 1TB Sata 3.5" Desktop Hard Drive
450 watt power supply
Any suggestions?
(I've heard nvidia's better for bf3, but I'm fine with ati.....)

Solution
If you are looking to play BF3 multiplayer, your CPU and RAM will keep you from playing it at such high settings.
Now what resolution is your monitor?

This would be your best bet :

I've got a GT 640 2gb, (quite horrendous, BF3 on medium at 30fps), and this Gtx 650 TI is 50% faster than mine. this 650 TI is only $129.99, and should run BF3 on High-Ultra (depending on your AA, antistophic filter, etc) at about 40-55fps. This thing might even be ready for BF4!

The GTX650ti BOOST 2GB is 31% faster than the GTX650ti 1GB and still within budget, so definitely get the boost version.

I'm gonna get another 4 gb go ram with my graphics card, so idon't think ram is a problem..... My monitor is 1080p and has hdmi capabilities, that's all I know. My processor shouldn't be a problem, though. I currently have a Radeon HD 5450(which is horrible, I know,), but I can run bf3 on low with like 20-30 frames. My friend has the same processor but with more ram and a sick graphics card, and can run bf3 on ultra.....

In large 64 player maps your CPU will struggle a bit, but yes, the GTX650ti BOOST 2GB will do the job, BUT do not expect ULTRA settings.
